18.00-19.30h : welcome drink at the Brewery “Halve Maan” (a 3 min.walk from the conference centre). This family brewery has been active since 1856. Cost of the welcome drink included in the registration fee.
Monday evening
18.30-20.00h : reception at the Town Hall of Bruges followed by a boat trip on the canals.
All participants are invited by the Mayor and the Aldermen of Bruges and is at the Gothic Hall of the Town Hall. The reception will be followed by a short boat trip on the canals (approx. 20 min.). Afterwards you can explore the many restaurants in the town center.
The Town Hall is one of the oldest Gothic town halls of the Low Countries (1376-1420). The frontage is adorned with statues and bas-reliefs. Inside is the Gothic Hall with a graceful hanging-vault ceiling (1402) with wall-paintings.

Tuesday evening
19.30-23.00h : Medieval banquet
The symposium dinner of this edition of Loss Prevention will be held at the Holy Hart Church. Participants will go back in time July 3, 1468 and take part in the wedding of Charles the Bold and Margaret of York. The festivities are carried merrily along by the richly costumed jesters, ministrels, knights and dancers, a falconer, witches and fire throwers ! the meal itself is a delightful four course dinner, richly complimented by unlimited native beers and wine.
